Brass PEX Gas Valve

The PEX valve is connected to the pipe with a ferrule to prevent leakage and is made of metal. The connection and sealing principle is that when the nut is tightened, the ferrule is subjected to pressure so that its edge bites into the outer wall of the pipe, and the outer conical surface of the ferrule in turn is under pressure to close with the conical surface inside the joint, thus reliably preventing leakage.
