The difference between check valve and ball valve?

1. The fluid resistance is different: the fluid resistance of the ball valve is small, and its resistance coefficient is equal to that of the pipe section of the same length. The shut-off valve has a large fluid resistance and requires a large force when opening and closing.

2. Different classifications: ball valves are divided into bypass valves, air valves, pressure relief valves, and drain valves. Globe valves are divided into straight-through globe valves, straight-through globe valves, angle globe valves and plunger globe valves.

3. Different applications: ball valves are especially suitable for media containing fibers, tiny solid particles, etc. Globe valves can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media.
