Flange table is a key factor that is often ignored in any system construction, and incorrectly ordered flanges will lead to work delays. Before specifying or ordering any plastic pipe flange, the pcd/ drilling of the connecting flange should be determined. PCD is the measured value from the center of one bolt hole, through the middle of the flange, to the center of another hole.
Flange drilling in different parts of the world
The possibility is that if you are in Europe, the drilling will be pn6, PN10 or PN16. If you connect plastic pipes to old equipment, such as pumps or filters, the flange may be bs10 drilled. If the equipment is imported from North America, the drilling hole is likely to be asa150 (or ANSI).
Why do we need to drill holes correctly
It's simple. If the two flanges do not have the same drill holes, the bolt holes will not align and you will not be able to connect them.
