一、Working principle
The multi-port ball valve can not only flexibly control the confluence, diversion and switching of the flow direction of the medium on the pipeline, but also can close any channel and connect the other two channels. This type of ball valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline.
二、Installation method
1.Remove the protective caps on both sides of the flange end and flush with the valve fully open.
2.Before installation, the whole machine should be tested according to the specified signal (electrical or gas) (to prevent vibration due to transportation from affecting the performance), and only after passing the test can it be installed online (the wiring should be according to the circuit diagram of the electric actuator).
3.Before connecting with the pipeline, the remaining impurities in the pipeline must be rinsed and removed (these substances may damage the valve seat and ball).
4.During installation, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as the lifting point to avoid damage to the actuator and accessories.
5.This type of valve should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline.
6.The pipeline near the installation point should not be sagging or subjected to external force. Pipe supports or supports can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline.
7.After connecting with the pipeline, please cross-lock the flange connecting bolts with the specified torque.
三、Operation and use
1.Before operation, make sure that the pipeline and valve have been flushed.
2.The operation of the valve is completed by driving the valve stem to rotate according to the size of the input signal of the actuator: when it rotates 1/4 turn (90°) in the forward direction, the valve is closed. The valve opens when reversed by 1/4 turn (90°).
3. When the direction indicating arrow of the actuator is parallel to the pipeline, the ball valve is open; when the indicating arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the ball valve is closed.
