PPR pipe
PP-r pipe is also called three type polypropylene pipe, using random copolymer polypropylene extrusion into pipe, injection into pipe fittings, is a new type of plastic pipe products developed and applied in Europe in the early 90's.
PP-r is the end of the 1980s, using the gas copolymerization process to make about 5% PE in the molecular chain of PP random uniform polymerization (random copolymerization) and become a new generation of pipeline materials. It has good impact resistance and long - term creep performance.
Characteristics of PPR tubing
PP-r pipe has the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance, no scaling, long service life and so on, but also has the following main characteristics.
1. Non-toxic and hygienic. Pp-r raw material molecules only carbon, hydrogen elements, no harmful and toxic elements exist, reliable health, not only used for hot and cold water pipelines, but also for pure drinking water system.
2. Heat preservation and energy saving. The thermal conductivity of PP-R tube is 0.21W/MK, which is only 1/200 of that of steel tube.
3. Good heat resistance. The Veka softening point of PP-R pipe is 131.5℃, and the highest working temperature can reach 95℃, which can meet the requirements of the hot water system in the building water supply and drainage code.
4. Long service life. The service life of PP-R tube can reach more than 50 years under the condition of working temperature 70℃ and working pressure 1.0MPa. The service life at room temperature (20℃) can reach more than 100 years.
5. Easy installation and reliable connection. Pp-r has good welding performance. The pipe and fittings can be connected by hot melting and electric melting, which is convenient to install and reliable. The strength of the connection part is greater than that of the pipe body.
6. Materials can be recycled. After cleaning and crushing, PP-R waste is recycled and used in the production of pipes and fittings. The amount of recycled material shall not exceed 10% of the total amount, which will not affect the product quality.
