PPR Pipe Installation Knowledge

Pipeline connection methods include welding, hot melt and threaded connection. PPR pipe hot melt connection is the most reliable, easy to operate, good air tightness, high interface strength. The pipe connection adopts the hand-held welding device for hot melt connection. Dust and foreign matter should be removed from pipes and accessories before connection. When the red light of the machine is on and stable, align the pipeline (part) to be connected DN < 50 hot-melt depth of 1-2mm, DN < 110 hot-melt depth of 2-4mm. When connecting, insert the tube end into the heating sleeve without rotation to reach the predetermined depth. At the same time, push the pipe fittings to the heating head without rotation for heating. After reaching the heating time, immediately remove the pipe and fittings from the heating sleeve and the heating head at the same time, and insert the pipe and fittings into the required depth rapidly without rotation and with uniform force to make the joint form a uniform flange. Within the specified heating time, the welded joint can be corrected, but rotation is strictly prohibited. When heating pipes and fittings, prevent excessive heating to thin the thickness. The pipe is deformed in the pipe fittings. Do not rotate during hot melt intubation and calibration. There shall be no open fire on the operation site, and it is strictly prohibited to dry and bend the pipe with open fire. The heated pipe and fittings should be aligned vertically with light force to prevent bending of the elbow. After connection, the pipe and pipe fittings must be held tightly for enough cooling time, and can be released after cooling to a certain extent. When pp-R pipe is connected with metal pipe fitting, PP-R pipe with metal insert should be used as transition, the pipe fitting is connected with PP-R pipe by hot melt socket, and when connected with metal pipe fitting or hardware fittings of sanitary ware, thread connection is used, and polypropylene raw material belt should be used as sealing filler. If the mop pool is connected to a tap, install an internal elbow (threaded) at the end of the PPR pipe on it. In the process of pipeline installation, do not exert too much force, so as not to damage the screw buckle fittings and cause leakage at the connection. Pipe cutting can also be cut by special pipe scissors: the bayonet of the pipe scissors should be adjusted to conform to the diameter of the pipe to be cut, and the force should be uniformly applied when the pipe is cut off. After the cutting, the fracture should be rounded by the supporting rounder. When the pipe is broken, the section should be perpendicular to the axis of the pipe without burrs.
