The difference between pex-a, pex-b, and pex-c pipes.

May 07, 2022

1. Different cross-linking methods: pex-a is peroxide cross-linking, pex-b is silane cross-linking, cooking cross-linking, and pex-c uses electron beam stirring technology, and the mixing is relatively uniform. It is more suitable to install underfloor heating pe-rt.

2. Different characteristics: pex-a is subject to conditions such as temperature and proportion, the degree of cross-linking is not too stable, and there is peculiar smell. It cannot be considered as the best cross-linked pipe, but the technical properties of pex-c such as low temperature and high temperature resistance and pressure resistance are obviously enhanced, and pex-b has many artificial factors due to the level of cross-linking and technology. Success is not guaranteed.

3. Different applications: pex-c is the most stable cross-linked pipeline at present, but the equipment is expensive. the cost is too high. So the promotion is very slow. And pex-a is used more.
