The Role Of The Air Valve
An air valve is a component in a compressor that controls the flow of gas into and out of the cylinder. It mainly consists of seat, valve plate, spring and lift limiter. The lifting height or closure between the disc and the seat determines the size and tightness of the gas passage. The spring is mainly used to push the disc to close and also to reduce the impact of the disc opening with the lift limiter. Lift limiter can limit the lift of the valve plate and can bear the seat spring; The opening and closing of the air valve disc is controlled by the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the cylinder and the spring force, without other driving mechanism, so it is called automatic valve.
