Colorful water pipes, all because of this!
Master raw materials mainly include: carrier, colorant, auxiliaries.
Carrier: carrying the colorant, dispersing it into the plastic, is an important part of the masterbatch;
Colorant: The most critical part of the masterbatch, which is the root cause of the different colors of the pipes;
Auxiliaries: Relatively small in content, generally to help the colorant disperse or enhance antioxidant, light stability and other properties.
Color master is usually divided into general color master and special color master, the difference lies in the choice of carrier. For example, PPR special master carrier is generally selected PPR, to ensure good compatibility. Because the compatibility of general master is not good, so most regular manufacturers only produce special master.
PPR raw materials themselves are colorless, but the pipes made of this way have no shading, which is easy to breed bacteria and algae, causing water pollution and affecting the service life of water pipes. So, NATIONAL STANDARD SETS, COLOR master MUST BE added IN PPR CONDUIT, in order to obtain good shading performance. It should be noted that even the white water pipe is added with white masterbatch.
Regular manufacturers and through the quality of the masterbatch are healthy environmental protection. Good masterbatch fluidity and compatibility is better, can be more evenly dispersed in the plastic, the plastic itself will not have a bad effect on the mechanical properties. In addition, for PPR water pipes, the shading power of color master is a very important parameter, which determines the shading performance of water pipes, which also means the ability of PPR water pipes to inhibit the breeding of algae and bacteria.
